Wadi Rum Local Camp is owned by Salem Alzalabiah and is located in Wadi Rum, Jordan. We offer Wadi Rum experiences including 4×4 tours, camel rides, guided treks and camping, for anyone interested in experiencing Bedouin life.
Salem is a seasoned local guide with a long history of welcoming visitors. Salem currently lives in Wadi Rum Village with his family, he likes camping with friends and family in the desert.
About The Bedouin Camp
Salem’s camp is located in a secluded desert location where his family has lived in Bedouin tents for over 40 years. Salem grew up in this region and is familiar with many of the hidden trails and stories from previous generations. This location contains particular memories for his family of traditional Bedouin living, which is why he built his own camp here. The freshly rebuilt camp, which was completed in December 2019, is still a small, intimate camp with a lovely common tent with valley views.
